Arzu Özer is an international executive and board-level leader with extensive experience in corporate governance, legal strategy, and institutional oversight across multiple sectors including legal services, aviation, healthcare, logistics, and international business. Born in Belgium to a Turkish family, she grew up in a multicultural environment that shaped her global perspective and leadership approach. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Université libre de Bruxelles and speaks Turkish, English, French, Italian, and Dutch.
Throughout her career, Özer has held senior leadership and advisory roles in global organizations, combining executive management with a governance-focused approach. She is recognized for supporting boards and C-suite leadership in strategic decision-making while ensuring regulatory alignment, ethical oversight, and sustainable organizational performance. Her work focuses on strengthening institutional structures, risk awareness, and long-term governance frameworks within complex international environments.
Currently, Arzu Özer serves as Vice Chairwoman of the Board at HRD Antwerp Türkiye, one of the world’s leading diamond certification authorities, where she contributes to governance development, strategic oversight, and alignment with international standards. She is also Managing Partner of Çaltekin Legal & Trust, where she leads governance-oriented legal advisory, fiduciary structuring, and regulatory compliance for corporate and private clients.
Earlier in her career, Özer held executive leadership positions across several industries. She served as General Manager at Global VIP Health, Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment One, and General Manager at Luxaviation Private Jet, where she focused on regulatory compliance, operational governance, and strategic growth. She also worked as Legal Counsel at ACS and Technogym Türkiye, strengthening corporate governance, legal risk management, and regulatory frameworks in multinational environments. Additionally, she served as Deputy Chairwoman of the Board at Galata Transport, contributing to governance and strategic oversight in the logistics sector.
Beyond her executive roles, Özer actively contributes to institutional and professional organizations. She is a Board Member of KAGİDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey), a member of the Women’s Committee at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, and is involved in initiatives supporting international representation and cross-border cooperation.
